I can't help thinking that the old 'Traditional Strength Training' was actually more accurate than the new 'Functional Strength Training' - at least for BodyPump even though it's an 'Other' and bases it on a brisk walk. I adore BodyPump, I do it every 3 days (because I work a 6 day rota at work and every 3 days is easier than twice a week - just my personal preference), and previously I was 'burning' twice the calories that I do now, when I'm putting more effort in and doing more reps than I was before (because I'm getting more used to it and knowing when I can push myself and when I can't).
